I recently spent a night in Memphis after a lot of driving around the US so I really wanted somewhere super comfortable to stay with a jacuzzi so I could relax.
I spent a while researching the different options and ended up picking the Big Cypress Lodge.
I’m so glad I did as this place was utter bliss! It was so cozy and homely all around plus the private jacuzzi in my room felt so luxurious.

Perfect for couples, this hotel features everything you’ll need for a romantic escape. As well as the 2 on-site restaurants, I loved that there was also a spa, a wellness center and a bowling alley.
My room was super spacious room and I loved that I got gorgeous views overlooking downtown Memphis and the Mississippi River.
Select rooms even feature a luxury private jacuzzi in the room itself just for you! I stayed in one of these rooms and can say that it’s totally worth it. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and really well maintained.
Another thing I loved about this hotel was that they offered a shuttle service directly from the hotel to downtown and Beale Street. This made getting around super easy.
I also found that it was easy to get to other iconic Memphis attractions including the FedExForum, Memphis Zoo and the National Civil Rights Museum.

This was easily my second choice. The main reason I chose the Big Cypress Lodge over it was because the Super 8 wasn’t quite as central and I just loved the cozy feel of Big Cypress Lodge.
