If you’re up for a longer outing, Tahquamenon Falls State Park is about a 1-hour drive, where the Upper Falls drop nearly 50 feet and stretch more than 200 feet across, making it one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River.
Gas stations and services are pretty limited out here, so fill up your tank before heading into Germfask.
