1. The Graffiti Bridge
The Graffiti Bridge is a bright, paint-covered railroad bridge in Pensacola, located along 17th Avenue.
It’s basically an ever-changing outdoor art wall, where locals and visitors spray-paint everything from birthday shoutouts to protest messages and wild doodles.
The bridge gets painted almost daily, so what you see one morning might be totally different by that night.
It’s totally legal to paint here, so bring a can and leave your mark (just maybe wear old clothes as you will get colorful).
2. Historic Pensacola Village
After snapping some paint-splattered pics at The Graffiti Bridge, swing over to Historic Pensacola Village just a few minutes away in downtown.
This place is like walking through a giant outdoor museum, with 8.5 acres of super well-preserved homes, shops, and even a replica schoolhouse from the 1800s and early 1900s.
You can tour 12 different buildings, including the 1805 Lavalle House and the Old Christ Church from 1832, with knowledgeable guides who seriously know their stuff.
Don’t skip the Museum of Commerce while you’re there—it’s packed with vintage storefronts, an old-timey gas pump, and even a horse-drawn carriage.
3. National Naval Aviation Museum
When you’re ready for some high-flying action, head straight to the National Naval Aviation Museum over on Naval Air Station Pensacola.
This place is massive with 350,000 square feet of exhibits featuring jets, helicopters, flight simulators, and even a giant Blue Angels 4D experience that makes you feel like you’re flying with the squad.

4. Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum
Since you’re already on base, don’t miss the Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, it’s just down the road and totally worth the climb.
This 1859 lighthouse stands 150 feet tall, and you can climb all 177 steps to the top for one of the best views in all of Pensacola.
Inside, the museum has all kinds of cool stuff like shipwreck artifacts, lighthouse keeper stories, and spooky ghost tales that locals love to talk about.
It’s got that perfect mix of history, views, and just the right amount of spooky vibes so you’ll definitely want your camera for this one.
5. Fort Pickens
Once you’ve soaked up the lighthouse views, hop in the car and drive 25-minutes to Fort Pickens at the western tip of Pensacola Beach.
This massive brick fort was built in 1834 to protect Pensacola Bay, and fun fact: it once held the famous Apache leader Geronimo as a prisoner.
You can wander through underground tunnels, climb up old cannon walls, and explore hidden rooms that feel like something straight out of a pirate movie.
Bring snacks and chill on the nearby beach after exploring—the white sand and quiet waves make it the perfect spot to relax after playing fort explorer.
6. Langdon Beach
Right next to Fort Pickens, you’ll find Langdon Beach which is a quiet, laid-back stretch of sand that’s basically a local secret.

It’s part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, so the whole area feels super natural and untouched, making it perfect for a peaceful swim or a sandy picnic.

Once you’ve had your chill time at Opal Beach, you can visit to the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, which is just 15 minutes down the road and full of turtle-y awesome stuff.
This small but super cool center is all about protecting sea turtles and teaching people how to help, with hands-on exhibits and a 15,000-gallon saltwater pool.
You’ll meet Sweet Pea, a non-releasable green sea turtle who totally steals the show, along with other marine critters like lionfish.
