It even became known for playful flavors, including Beatle Nut Ice Cream during Beatlemania and the Apollo 11 Sundae after the moon landing.
That popularity eventually helped Miller’s grow into a small chain with about 30 parlors across Michigan and Indiana.
The original business closed in 1985, though the Miller property was later restored and reopened as a historic site where visitors can still stop in for a scoop.
