1. Treasure Island Park
Treasure Island Park is a stunning oceanfront park in Laguna Beach, located right next to the Montage Laguna Beach resort along Highway 1.
It’s known for its smooth walking paths, colorful flowers, and the wide, sandy beach below that’s perfect for tide pooling and sunset watching.
There are benches with postcard-worthy views of the Pacific, plus easy access to the beach via a paved ramp that’s stroller and wheelchair friendly.
You’ll also spot cool tide pools full of sea stars and crabs at low tide near the beach, just past the rocky outcrops.
2. Victoria Beach Pirate Tower
Just a short drive from Treasure Island Park, Victoria Beach is home to one of Laguna’s most unexpected surprises, a 60-foot-tall stone Pirate Tower that looks like it popped out of a storybook.
You’ll find it located against the cliff at the far north end of the beach, most easily accessed during low tide, so time your visit right.
The tower was built in 1926 as a private staircase to the beach, but now it’s a favorite photo spot for locals and anyone chasing secret castle vibes.
To get there, head to the staircase at Victoria Drive and Sunset Terrace, then walk down and head left along the shore until you spot it.

This is the heart of Laguna Beach, right along Pacific Coast Highway, with a big sandy beach, a boardwalk, and the iconic white lifeguard tower, a historic feature dating back to the 1920s.

4. Laguna Art Museum
Just a few blocks from Main Beach, the Laguna Art Museum is the perfect spot to cool off and get a dose of California creativity.

Right after the museum, you can stroll straight into Heisler Park, which is one of the prettiest coastal parks in all of Laguna.

If you’re ready for a break from the beach, head inland just 5 minutes to Laguna Canyon Winery for a laid-back wine tasting with a local twist.
This family-owned spot is located inside an industrial building at 2173 Laguna Canyon Road, but don’t let the outside fool you—inside, it’s all cozy vibes and award-winning small-batch wines.
You can try a tasting flight of reds and whites made from grapes grown in Napa and Sonoma, without ever leaving Laguna.
The staff know their stuff and keep it super chill, so whether you’re a wine nerd or just here for the sips, you’ll feel right at home.
7. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park
Right down the road from the winery, Laguna Coast Wilderness Park is where you trade sandals for hiking boots and get into full nature mode.
This massive park has over 40 miles of trails winding through coastal canyons, oak woodlands, and rocky ridgelines with ocean views.
Try the 3.5-mile Laurel Canyon Loop if you’re up for a moderate climb—it’s got wildflowers in spring, shady spots year-round, and even a seasonal waterfall after big rains.

8. Top of the World
If you want the kind of view that makes your jaw drop, head up to Top of the World, which is the actual name.

If you’ve got extra time and want one last beach adventure, Crystal Cove State Park is just a few minutes from Laguna and totally worth it.
This massive park has over 3 miles of pristine coastline, plus tide pools and often clear waters ideal for swimming or snorkeling.
You can also hike inland on trails like the El Moro Canyon Loop, which winds through coastal scrub and gives you awesome ocean views from the top.
Don’t miss the historic beach cottages down by the water, where some are rentals, and others are straight-up time capsules from the 1930s.
