He didn’t skimp on the details, adding a working drawbridge, a chapel, a bell tower you can climb, and even a dungeon.
There’s also a moat that surrounds the entire area and is filled with water and gators.
Inside is just as wild, with tall stone walls, a long dining hall set for a feast, and twisting passageways that’ll make your inner kid lose their mind.

The castle is open most of the year, but spring and fall are the best times to visit because Texas summers can be extremely hot.
